The Anchor has a unique release system, when pulled a small bolt (for a larger boat just install thicker bolt) breaks which releases the spikes of the anchor which collapse and allow easy retrieval. 

One size fits all boats, all you need is the larger bolts which come with the kit.

It is best suited for anchor for the vast majority of your everyday boating needs. For the other times like mooring overnight in unpredictable weather or extreme conditions, drop down a large oversized heavy anchor.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Holds your boat safely, but if it gets really snagged, the calibrated breakaway system ensures a consistent reliable release.

IT IS SIMPLE. You choose the pin you require to safely hold your boat.

SHEAR PIN SIZE GUIDE:

• 3-5m boat, use - 3mm pin (SMALL)
• 5-7m boat, use 4mm pin (MEDIUM)
• 7-9m boat, use 5mm pin (LARGE)

Pins supplied and easily replaced at local hardware stores, use mild steel, zinc coated bolts in 3mm (Small), 4mm (Medium) and 5mm (Large).

Naturally rotates and buries into softer surfaces

The anchor releases at approx. 60kg, 100 kgs and 200 kgs for 3, 4 and 5mm shear pins. This is more than adequate to hold your boat while fishing and mooring.
