How to Release Your Super Sarca Anchor

Releasing your anchor is just as important as setting it—and the Super Sarca makes it safe, fast, and hassle-free, whether you're on mud, sand, rock, or reef.

For Mud or Sand Bottoms

Step 1: Bring your boat directly above the anchor.
Step 2: Apply light, steady pressure on the rope or chain.
Step 3: The Sarca's patented slots break suction, and the long shank provides leverage—making retrieval smooth and effortless.

For Rock or Reef

Step 1: Motor your boat directly over the anchor and pull in all slack from the rope or chain.
Step 2: Let out about 1/2 meter of rope and tie it off securely.
Step 3: Slowly motor forward over the anchor - this lifts the rear of the Sarca anchor, triggering a high recovery rate.
Step 4: Once released, a stainless steel D-Shackle (not included) will slide to the front of the shank, automatically resetting the anchor for the next drop.
